Ellensburg is a small historic town located in central Washington on I-90 between Seattle and Yakima. It is the home of Central Washington University. Join this--been here 2 months greenhorn--as I stroll around discovering and photographing Ellensburg and sometimes the surrounding area of Kittitas County.

Preserving the past...
Signs such as this one are restored and preserved on many of Ellensburg's historic buildings. I will show more of these in the weeks to come.
I love the ones painting on the sides of buildings.
