Ellensburg is a small historic town located in central Washington on I-90 between Seattle and Yakima. It is the home of Central Washington University. Join this--been here 2 months greenhorn--as I stroll around discovering and photographing Ellensburg and sometimes the surrounding area of Kittitas County.

A closer look at Twede's Cafe and Twin Peaks.
This restaurant, still survives from the TV series Twin Peaks. The resort scenes were shot at the Snoqualmie Resort on I-90 between Ellensburg and Seattle. Cast photos are hanging in the restaurant and the series can be viewed on Netflix streaming.
