Ellensburg is a small historic town located in central Washington on I-90 between Seattle and Yakima. It is the home of Central Washington University. Join this--been here 2 months greenhorn--as I stroll around discovering and photographing Ellensburg and sometimes the surrounding area of Kittitas County.

Back in the day the Railroad built houses in small towns for it's workers. There are several examples of this type of dwelling in Ellensburg--really well preserved and attractive--that I can show you in the coming months.
