Creative spider dude has spun his last masterpiece...

The effects of freezing fog...does it look Picasso? Perhaps a Jackson Pollock influence?

Snowed in Pizza...

Pizza Rita's Large Pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms.
The Weather Channel says that more Pizzas are delivered on this day of the year than any other day.

17 Degrees with snow on the streets.

I could walk to town...even over to the CWU campus, but at 17 degrees all day I think I will stay in and just order Pizza!

The last Farmer's Market for 2010.

With light snow and 35 degrees this was a Saturday indoor event at the Public Library. A good crowd was present to shop for Thanksgiving produce and unique Christmas items.

Pizza Rita on Main Street.

I have photographed Pizza Rita several times with flat light, wrong angles and bad results. Early in the morning I was happy with this one--with the sun flare and the road marks. A little atmosphere seems to help--and I have saved the best shot--I think--for tomorrow's blog. Click the photo to enlarge this one.

28 degrees and snowing...

Not enough to cover the ground and as the temperature rises this first snowfall may just be a memory by sundown.

House at 801 Water Street.

Back in the day the Railroad built houses in small towns for it's workers. There are several examples of this type of dwelling in Ellensburg--really well preserved and attractive--that I can show you in the coming months.

Halloween is a good time to visit Leavenworth.

Beautiful Leavenworth, WA two days before Halloween. Years ago it was a very small town with no future until someone had an idea that has really bloomed! You can Google Leavenworth and even see the Front Street Cam. It is a mini vacation trip for residents of Ellensburg.
